Kairos Torch 101 Presentations
Kairos Torch 101 is a broad overview of the Kairos youth program from initial volunteer recruitment to mentoring. It is designed to give new volunteers an understanding of the requirements and key elements of Kairos Torch through the use of many visual and interactive demonstrations. This presentation has proven to be an excellent recruiting tool – inspiring and encouraging volunteers to become committed team members and mentors. KairosMessenger Training for the Advisory Council Secretary and Data Coordinators
This training will provide information for the Advisory Council Secretary on the use of KairosMessenger to fulfill their job responsibilities. The training includes clean up of volunteer data, understanding how to maintain records, understanding how to conduct the elections and reading the Election Eligibility Report, how to use the Kairos Mail system, how to access and read the various reports. This training provides an overview of KairosMail, the primary means of communication in Kairos. It emphasizes the importance of updating bad or missing email addresses before starting large mailings, a task that can only be completed by the Secretary or Data Coordinator of the Advisory Councils. You will learn how to choose from multiple tabs to create mailing lists for Volunteers, Advisory Councils, and State Chapters. Kairos Institutional Liaison Training
The Institutional Liaison Coordinator for the Advisory Councils of Kairos Inside and Kairos Torch are always important. In 2025, these positions are even more important as we work to reenter the adult and youth facilities. Volunteers, who have done the role, have developed training for the Institutional Liaison Coordinator to better understand the relationship with the facility and key topics to cover, which enables Kairos to operate at it’s very best.
